Default Any Updates on the mouse issue?

I've been reading on the mouse rubber banding issue and I have the same problem. What's been said so far does not seem conclusive as to what exactly the problem is. Funny thing is I've been uninstalling and reinstalling/updating my touchpad/audio/graphic drivers and directx and somewhere in the midst of that it worked properly (using a usb mouse) but now it's not working anymore.

Stuffed,

Are you playing in Windowed mode or in full screen mode?

At least one other player reported seeing the issue after playing in Windowed mode. So if you are doing that you might try full screen. If you are in full screen it might be related to minimizing the game (if you are doing that).

Otherwise you might just try disabling the touch pad in your device manager and just leaving the USB mouse active. That should fix it.

I've tried all of it but none of it works. Full-screen or windowed, no matter.

I'm also having the same issue with a toshiba a105 series laptop and logitech usb mouse... I have tried all of the suggestions in both sets of posts on this topic and still no fix. Any further help on this?

Got the same problem. Holding down the left or - the more convinient - right mouse button kinda "disables" the rubber band effect, until I release it again.

After I spend some time ingame, the mouse works good. Until that point I play with the right mouse button constantly pressed.

I think there are a few programs out there (it's even built-in into Winxp - in the section of additional, helpful programs for handicapped people) where you can emulate a mouse with keys of your keyboard.

Maybe this helps you ?
