That's good news. I couldn't find it yesterday, so I figured I'd wait until Monday. I have three questions for whoever picks up the Wii version:
1) Does it have a two-player mode like the PS2?
2) Does it have a nice battlefield layout similar to the Xbox/PSP version or a cramped layout like the PS2 version?
3) How is it controlled? (Infrared, buttons, classic controller support, etc...)
Peace \/

Text resolution
What's up with the text? On a standard 19" tv you can't read any of the text. I couldn't find any settings to fix this. So now am I stuck with a 30 dollar coaster? It makes this version almost unplayable. I tried the demo on xbla and enjoyed it, but would have rather played on the wii.
Kinda negative, but I love the game and want a fix for the text, cuz you can't return open games.

People still own and use 19' TVs??? Heck even my computer monitor is 24' these days
All joking aside it's strange that it wouldn't be displaying correctly on the TV because that's certainly bigger than many people's lap top monitors.

Well, the xbla version on my pc monitor 24" widescreen is nice looking. What I wanted was the wii version. Got it and threw it in, and my regular tv is a 19" which isn't bad. The text though, it's like trying to run a computer feed or an xbox360 game through it. And I 'just' got it tonight, and if I can't return it opened, I definitely don't want to trade it in for less, it's a brand new game. Hopefully if there is no text fix bestbuy will take it back.

The PS2 version got similar complaints regarding the size of the text. I guess the QA guys all have large monitors. Anyway, what about the controls and battlefield layout? The PS2 has an extremely cramped layout compared to the PC/XBox360/PSP versions. Is the Wii the same? Meaning, does the playfield take up most of the screen or is it tiny with lots of other windows all around it. Also, how do you control it? I'm hoping it's not just infrared with the Wii mote, because that would get tiring fast.
Thanks,

Well, the screen is split in three columns. Left and right for character and enemy and middle for the game board. The manual says you can use either the pointer or the nunchuck style for controls. So far I'm using the pointer, debating whether or not to try to return it. I like the controls, and the game, the text issue is what's bothering me. I'd by a larger or better tv (not just for one game) but don't have that much cash to just dump. I have to take my wii to a friends (where i can try it on a big lcd) to test out if that makes a difference with the text resolution. The pointer is nice, but your arm does get tired after a bit

Hmm, so it lets you use the nunchuck? That may be a lot easier than constantly pointing at the screen.
So does the layout look like the PS2:

Or the XBox Live:
http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/9...g_4768369.html
Notice how the XBox version makes better use of screen real estate. The PS2 version has a tiny board and wasted space all around. I'm hoping the Wii is closer or the same as the XBox version.
Thanks,

I'm guessing the Wii version is a port similar in look to the PS2 version. There's an old version of Puzzle Quest on Partnernet (for 360) which has a similar look to the PS2 version. I'm glad they revised the presentation to take better use of the screen real estate available.

Actually, it looks just like the ps2 version, with smaller text
Played it a bit last night, and you can get used to it, but the text issue is making me try for an exchange. Maybe they'll let me just pick up the pc version or something. If not, it's not bad, my only complaint is the text.
And as for the nunchuck controls, it's weird. You use the analogue like the pointer in the xbox live version on the world map, but the cursor for everything else uses the dpad, which feels a little awkward on the remote. The pointer is nice, just need a brace for your wrist, cuz it can get tiring.
