Good day all:

August 20/2010
I have done a few updates over the summer the latest adds new funky buildings.
March 26/2010
The main archive has been updated to include all the recent fixes. This will be the last update for some time as I plan to take a break from the project for a bit.

March 21/2010
Today I updated the Boats.xcr the fixes will hopefully improve pathfinding for all ship units
and limit crashes on boat maps.

Today I updated the graphics for the Giant Rats & Goblin Sherman

The original archive was updated .

Ogre Mage graphics redone.
Febuary 25/2010
This month I totally overhauled the unit graphics for the Dragon race.

December 29/2009
Today I did my most recent update of the original archive. Most noticible differences are new Menu graphics so users please back up your original Graphics.xcr file. Also AI heros will get alternate avators now. 1 new hero avator for Knights as well.
November 17/2009
Today November 17/2009 I updated the archive to add some new features to the 1035 MOD. This latest update is the most code work I've done in 8 months so it's a nice update. The new version has 3 new spheres of magic.
- Light Magic which includes the classic Common spells we used to love in
Warlords Battlecy I & II. This sphere is available in a new Wizard Class and there is lots of items to be found for it as well.
-Dwarf Magic is a new sphere for Dwarves they are included in the new class Dwarfmaster and there is a +5 item as well.
-Goblin Magic a new sphere which takes the place of Poison Magic for the Goblin Race
Other notable goodies
2 new Skills available only in items (2 rare and 1 common)

Goblin Cannon now works as it original intended no more critter class stuff . The two executionals are exactly the same (Battlecry1035 , Battlecry10352)

All code , new avators, item graphics and new spell effects done by myself hope you like.

When adding the MOD overtop of Version 3 you will need to delete or rename your old Herodata35.xcr file in your Mydocuments/wbc3 folder.

Main MOD Features & OLD NEWS

New playable side : Dragons
Contains 9 new units and 2 returning units
Race has playable AI so you can do battle versus them as well
Building graphics are done by myself hope you like.

Goblins:
Improved armour stats on Zeppelins & Goblin Cannon

New Powerup to increase Range for above

Ogres:
AI Now works! So this means on can play random races without worrying about the crash that used to exist.
OgreKeeps now have side colours and improved graphics.

Support for additional terrain packs! So now when you load up Kharnpak1 terrain tile set you can scroll to the bottom of and select water tiles at the bottom.



Again the MOD plays alongside your regular version of the game.



HOW TO INSTALL MOD
Simply copy wbc3v4.zip to Program Files/enlight/i2/warlordsbattlecry3 unzip archive there. It will prompt you to overwrite files say yes(portraits.xcr, graphics.xcr & soundfx.xcr all have new stuff added in them)
Archive has subdirectories and will copy nessasary files into their proper folders.
Do NOT have any backed up Ogres.xcr files in addition to the main one as this may cause crashes.
If you experience any issues feel free to email me at ahatchwbciii@hotmail.com. When reporting a crash please include the Startup.txt from your MyDocuments/Warlords Battlecry 3 folder.

Hmmmm.... seems to me like the towers are not attacking automatically.

There is two executional files with Battlecry1035.exe and Battlecry10352.exe the latter the towers auto attack Goblins.

Second how to install your mod.

I was playing online games
WoW and then WAR past year,with their...,coughs, auto-patching and forgot
all 'bout modding ..
P.S.
Ok I installed that on 1,03
the mod runs from 1035
10352
but vanila game does not

I tried this out and it's really cool that you created new races, but they don't really seem well balanced. I mean, the three new races can each start with generals right off the bat, and the dragons can get dragons much too easily. I know that is probably the point, but 500 crystal for an instant dragonliche is a little crazy.

I really hope this is coming across as contructive criticism, because I love the fact that you are trying to add to a game I love, I was just wondering if it could possibly be a little more balanced.

Well I guess it depends on the AI level you are playing. Playing Dragons say aggainst a high level ai is pretty tough actually thier early game is pretty poor. Balance will come once there is some multiplayer games. Really this MOD is more single player focused so far. So my advice is to crank up the AI if it's too easy. Grand Warlord is pretty tough.
And if you are playing multiplayer well my advice if your playing Dragons is to destroy him before he can upgrade his Plunder too much. If Dragons can upgrade the Plunder powerup too much it doesn't matter what the Dragon Spirit Power Up cost's.
Besides they are Dragons and Dragons of all sorts are cheaper.

I wonder if there is a chance that you can bring back the Old hero and armor system? despite all the lack of bugfixes and balancefixes in WBC3 i think those two where 2 great mistakes.
I{m not playing wbc3 right now, i would rather play 2, but if the old armor and hero system would return i would surely play again and i know of other people that would too

There's nothing left of the old system in WBC 3's code (and why would there be?). So that would require completely re-creating everything related to them.

I would rather work on adding units, races and replayability options than bring back a bygone armour system to bring back a few players who don't like wbc3. Curently I'm working on 320 X 320 map size which is by far a much more productive thing.
