Warlords 5 or new Battlecry?

Steve or distinguished Infinitiive Interactive serfs, when are you going to make us a non-puzzle warlords? I've been having a blast lately rediscovering W3DLR and my xbox360 is depressed because of it. If/when you make a new Battlecry or Warlords, will they be multi-platform?

Hey Lurch,

We started some work on Warlords 5 a while back, but recently we've been completely side-tracked by the success of Puzzle Quest. We do some things starting to appear on the table for more Warlords strategy titles right now, but sadly nothing to announce yet.

The most important thing is that I (and most of the team here) all REALLY want to make W5 & WBC4, so that's a good sign that it will eventually happen!

Puzzle Quest is very good but Warlords Battlecry is the most fun RTS game.

Well I just registererd on this forum to voice my supoort for Battlecry 4 or Warlords 5. I am more of a TBS fan but found WBC 2 to be one of the most enjoyable and longest lasting games on my hard drive, right up there with MOO 2. So I know there are probably a lot more like me lurking around or without enough initiative to seek out this website and post. But I suspect there is a large demand as this niche in the market has not been addressed seriously in many years.

Speaking of which .... might we see Warlords DS @ E3?

I suppose that would fall under the "nothing to announce yet" category.

Some ideas:
Maybe there should be another skirmish map in WBC2 style where you have to conquer regions. AND the system should be build so that you have to defend your lands too. For example I conquer some land and later in the game I have to defend it sometimes. If I don't or I flail, then I simply lose the land.

For Wbc4 there should be definitely a main server for multiplayer games.

One more thing - BALANCE THE HEROES - Many of them are overpower, for example assassins in hero vs hero combat.

The terrain should be more complex so that multiplayer games wouldn't be so hack-n-slash like. Something should be added to widen the variety of different strategies how to defeat your enemy. Starcraft is good for that.

Something should be done to increase the value of microing. I love microing ( in battle, controlling individually small groups of men ) not just let the built-in AI to handle the situation.
