DS Freeze consitantly, and a missing boss

My DS version freezes about 6 times a night. I've never had any other game freeze, and i continue to not have any other game freezing. What gives?

Also, i beat bane, and then played him from the "choose opponent" screen, and after i beat him there a bunch of times (wanted money) he disappeared. Is there something i can do to bring him back?

Did you by chance switch to another character on the DS?

You can only battle the Boss's in the 'Chose Opponent' menu if you've already defeated them.

So if you switched characters then Bane would no longer be available.

If you didn't switch characters, then he should be available.
