How do you attack?

I have an army, and when I go to a new area on the map it says 'attack', but I press it and nothing happens!?

Also if I go to one that my race rules, it says 'defend', do I need to activate my forces in an area to help defend it?

Looks like a bug, try pressing F5 or cleaning browsers cache.
When you click on attack, you will be able to set up units for attack. They change the chance for total victory, victory, stand off, defeat and total defeat. Each time you attack you lose some of your troops (when you are defeated, you loose about all of them). For more information just make the attack button work.

You can use archers, walls and towers. As while attacking, they change chance to defend (race rating at the region goes up) or to defend + gain a level up.

You have to select the units you're going to use to attack before you press "attack". Did you do that?

It now works, which is good. I right clicked on the map and choose play which seemed to activate it and I was now allowed to move onto the attack page and away we go. Cheers
